A better way to handle controlled substances?
Handling controlled substances in practice is a serious matter. You are required by law to maintain accurate transaction records, track exact inventories, file regular DEA reports, and comply with DEA regulations for storage and security. - Prescribing veterinarian’s DEA number required
- Prescription limit is 5 refills and 6-month duration
- Pet owner’s driver’s license number required
- Adult signature required to receive the order
- New York Law: no controlled substances may be shipped outside the state
